Jonas Valanciunas is returning to Europe after taking part in the previous 14 seasons within the NBA.
The Lithuanian large man signed a two-year contract Wednesday with Lithuanian and EuroLeague skilled staff Zalgiris Kaunas. Monetary phrases of the deal, which runs by means of the 2027-28 season, weren’t disclosed.

The transfer comes after the Denver Nuggets waived him final week. Valanciunas, 34, performed in 65 video games final season for the Nuggets, averaging 8.7 factors and 5.1 rebounds.
He averaged 12.8 factors and 9.0 rebounds in his NBA profession, showing in 1,002 video games for the Toronto Raptors, New Orleans Pelicans, Memphis Grizzlies, Washington Wizards, Sacramento Kings and Nuggets.
