The Warmth didn’t miss a step with Tyler Herro returning to the lineup for the primary time this season on Monday, selecting up their fifth straight win and eighth in 10 video games to maneuver to 12-6.
Herro, again after ankle surgical procedure, delivered a team-high 24 factors and hit a key late bucket to assist seal the win over Dallas.
“It’s superb that he can come again and have that type of rhythm, and that’s solely going to get higher,” head coach Erik Spoelstra mentioned, telling reporters that Herro’s ability and scoring punch are important.
“You want as a lot ability and firepower as doable on this league. And it was simply thrilling to have him again.”
Herro wanted solely a quick stretch to shake off rust in Miami’s new uptempo system. As ESPN’s Tim MacMahon notes, after lacking his first 4 pictures, he made 12 of his ultimate 14.
