Ipoh-based 002 Pickleball Membership & Academy stayed true to its imaginative and prescient of spreading love, share, and care whereas selling the game of pickleball because it distributed pickleball gear to chose colleges within the state of Perak in Malaysia, with the assistance of Selkirk Sport.
The formal turnover of kit came about on 14 November 2025 on the AC Lodge by Marriott within the metropolis of Ipoh. The ceremony was presided over by the Perak State Training Division, represented by Director of Training Tuan Zulkafli bin Mohamed Mokhta.
“Once we have been approached by Puan Linda of the State Training Division of Perak to advertise pickleball to the colleges, we didn’t hesitate to do it, and we have been informed there wouldn’t be any financial advantages, and we could possible incur plenty of money and time to do it, together with getting gear for the colleges in Perak,” stated the 002 Pickleball Membership & Academy on its official Fb web page. “However that is what we’ve arrange 002 for: to serve the pickleball group of Ipoh, Perak, and all of Malaysia. After seven months of speaking to many individuals within the pickleball scene, we discovered our breakthrough with Selkirk, who sponsored our faculty programme with 120 paddles and 200 balls. We’re grateful for the belief that the Perak State Training Division had in us.”
A complete of 15 colleges within the state of Perak benefitted from 002 Pickleball Membership & Academy’s efforts, and every establishment was represented within the ceremony by a trainer and two college students.
